The VEM Record Clamp effectively dampens harmful vibrations and makes the playback more balanced with more detail. It dampens vibrations that a normal record weight cannot.
Sound coming from the speakers during playback stimulates the vinyl and makes it vibrate. Additionally, the turntable motor and stylus movement also make it vibrate. Low frequencies have the most energy and reenter the stylus affecting playback quality.
The VEM (Vibration Extinction Mechanism) Record Clamp is designed to absorb and remove these harmful vibrations and makes the playback more balanced with more detail.
